As a Civil Trial Specialist since 1996, attorney Connolly is one of less than 100 Connecticut attorneys to be certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the only organization approved by the Connecticut Judicial Department’s Specialization Committee.

He has been recognized by his peers as a Connecticut Super Lawyer since the inception of that designation in 2006.

Jim Connolly grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and completed his undergrad and law degree at the University of Bridgeport (now Quinnipiac University School of Law), magna cum laude.

In his early career, he litigated serious criminal matters including murder, sexual assault, and robbery. He also represented a major national insurance company and litigated automobile, product liability, premises liability, and other negligence and subrogation matters.
