Following college, Mr. Borbi attended the University of Dayton School of Law and received a Juris Doctor Degree in 1990 with honors. Following law school, Mr. Borbi joined the firm of Parker, McCay and Criscuolo in Marlton, New Jersey, where he specialized in defending area hospitals, physicians, businesses and insurance companies. During this period of time, Mr. Borbi successfully tried over one hundred (100) Jury Trials and was the youngest attorney in the State of New Jersey to be granted the designation of Certified Civil Trial Attorney at the age of 31.
Mr. Borbi joined the firm of Freidman, Bafundo and Porter in 1996 as a Trial Attorney and shortly thereafter became a partner in the firm.
Mr. Borbi has achieved multiple multi-million dollar verdicts throughout the State of New Jersey in various types of cases including medical malpractice, automobile accidents, insurance claims and negligence matters.
Mr. Borbi was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New Jersey where he continues to serve. He has also been awarded a rating of "A.V." by Martindale-Hubbel, a designation reserved only for preeminent lawyers in the country.
