Jorge Perez-Gurri was born in Havana, Cuba and was raised in the United States upon arriving to this country in 1960. He graduated from the University of Miami and went on to receive his law degree at Emory School of Law.
Mr. Perez-Gurri began his law career in 1979 as a Dade County Assistant State Attorney. During his time there he tried in excess of two hundred cases. After three years with the State Attorney’s Office, he accepted a position with an insurance company to head their litigation department. In 1988, Mr. Perez-Gurri decided to devote his practice to the representation of persons injured in accidents. Since that time, he has devoted his practice solely to the representation of the injured, disabled and killed due to the negligence of another.
