In addition, Raul has also practiced before the Florida State Court, Federal Administrative Court, and State Administrative Court, and in Binding Arbitration cases pursuant to the admiralty contracts of seamen.
Mr. De La Heria received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 1984. Upon graduating, he began working in the Banking and Advertising Industry for several years. He later became interested in the law and attended St. Thomas University, School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1995.
Upon completing law school in 2.5 years, Mr. De La Heria was offered the opportunity to become a founding partner in a firm that exclusively dealt with representing injured workers under the Workers’ Compensation law in the State of Florida.
In 2001, Mr. De La Heria left that firm and opened his own boutique firm, which expanded its practice to include Personal Injury, Longshore & Admiralty cases in addition to Workers Compensation. Mr. De La Heria has successfully litigated cases in Florida, Puerto Rico, Georgia, and California.
