A graduate of Hofstra University, BBA Accounting, 1966, Mr. Smolev earned his law degree from Washington College of Law of the American University, 1969. He received his LLM in Taxation from New York University Graduate School of Law, 1974. Mr. Smolev began his career at the accounting firm of Peat, Marwick & Mitchell & Co., New York, New York. Subsequent to his tenure at Peat, Marwick & Mitchell & Co., he edited tax related professional texts for Panel Publishers.
